Areola/nipple reduction

The areola is a circular area of pigmented skin around the nipple. An areola that is too large or irregularly shaped can be corrected by a procedure under local anesthesia. The incision is very fine and the scar is virtually invisible.

A prominent nipple may be reduced either in diameter or in length also during a procedure under local anesthesia.
