Dr. Ronald G. Zelt

Dr. Ronald G. Zelt is an award-winning plastic surgeon with 25 years of experience in the field of breast surgery and body contouring. He listens to each person’s needs, desires and concerns, helping his patients achieve their aesthetic goals with realistic expectations.

Dr. Zelt has extensive skill and experience in plastic surgery, making him a highly sought-after specialist for breast and body surgeries. He specializes in all forms of breast surgeries including augmentation, lift (mastopexy), reduction and breast reconstruction after cancer surgery.

Additionally, gynecomastia (male breast reduction) is an important part of her practice. Another of his main focuses is body contouring including procedures such as tummy tucks, thigh and arm lifts and personalized body contouring for patients who have lost a significant amount of weight after bariatric surgery.

Originally from Ontario, Dr. Zelt has lived in the Montreal area for 43 years. He received his medical degree from McGill University in 1984 and completed his residency in plastic surgery in 1990. He then completed a year of training in Melbourne, Australia, and another in Los Angeles, at the University of Southern California. Dr. Zelt holds two master’s degrees, one in experimental surgery and the other in medical education. He began his practice in plastic surgery in 1992 and is certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, with a specialty certificate in plastic surgery. He is a member of the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons (CSPS) and the Canadian Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (CSPES).
