Aesthetic and plastic surgery

Dr. Chen Lee is a renowned plastic surgeon with over 25 years of experience. He holds two specialty certificates from the Medical Council of Canada. In addition, Dr. Chen Lee has received numerous prestigious awards in plastic surgery and has participated in the training of more than 50 plastic surgeons.

In 1982, Dr. Lee was admitted at the University of Toronto in Medicine. In 1986, he graduated from the University of Toronto and was admitted at McGill University in Montreal as a resident of the surgical science program.

In 1994, he was recruited by the University of California in San Francisco as a full-time member of the Faculty of Plastic Surgery. In 2000, Dr. Lee was promoted to the honourable rank of Associate Professor.

While practising plastic surgery in San Francisco, Dr. Lee organized and served as Medical Director of the “Second Chance for Laser Gang Tattoo Removal” awareness program to help troubled youth reintegrate into society.

Back in Montreal in 2002, he was recruited as President of Plastic Surgery and Associate Professor at McGill University. After three years as President of Plastic Surgery at McGill University, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada entrusts Dr. Lee and his faculty with the overall institutional program changes.

In 2005, Dr. Lee left academic surgery to devote his attention to his private practice of plastic and cosmetic surgery, where he used his training and expertise to solve difficult facial, neck and body plastic surgery problems.

Dr. Lee has contributed to the accreditation process for plastic surgeons, physicians, and the maintenance of standards of care in Canada and the United States.
