Administrative Agent - Pre/Postoperative Clinic

MISSION
The Metropolitan Surgery Center is aimed at private clients. Its priority is to ensure a high level of quality of care and services while meeting the highest standards in terms of the continuity of health and safety services. Its activities are mainly gender affirming surgeries, but also elective and reconstructive cosmetic surgeries, laparoscopic bariatric surgeries, urological surgeries and otolaryngological surgeries. In addition, the CMC offers the care required by surgeries thanks to its pre and post-operative clinic, its care units and its competent staff who listen to the needs of clients.
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Under the authority of the head nurse of the pre- and postoperative clinic, the administrative agent responds to various administrative requests from pre- and postoperative nurses. This position requires a high level of confidentiality and close collaboration with all members of the CC-CMC.
Key responsibilities:
• Add communications and otherdocuments related to the pre- and postoperative process to the electronicpatient file (Medesync).
Schedule pre- and postoperative nursing appointments for patients via phone ortelehealth.
• Update the tracking of the file flowin Medesync.
• Create a list of surgical requeststo be validated by the preoperative team.
• Create a list of postoperativeconsultations for the postoperative team.
• Create a list of patients in triagefor the preoperative team.
• Send systematic follow-ups topatients.
• Create patient records to generatesystematic notifications.
• Validate the status of newlysubmitted files for the preoperative team on the waiting list.
• Print the necessary documents forthe paper file to ensure it is complete, as requested by the preoperative team.
• Transfer files between nursesworking remotely or in person and various stakeholders (doctors, GrS office).
• Maintain the tracking table of filesevaluated by the preoperative team.
• Scan and upload to Medesync thedischarge documents for patients in short stay (discharge prescription).
• Recruit patients for variousresearch projects.
• Request an interpreter according tothe instructions of the preoperative team.
• Contribute to maintaining aharmonious work environment.
• Adhere to the policies andprocedures of CC-CMC.
• Inform the immediate supervisor ofany issues encountered or defective equipment.
• Attend informational and trainingmeetings.
• Perform any other related tasks asrequested by the immediate supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS
• Knowledge of the medical field
• Proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken, to communicate with our Francophone and Anglophone patients
• Good computer skills (Excel, Word, Internet, and Outlook)
